Somewhere in Halifax, 1996, with my first SLR camera. I suddenly think the reason why I love taking photos is that I'm a person indulging too much in my memories.

5:12 a.m. Alone at home.
Had tea with Vera at 1881 Heritage in the afternoon. The weather was nice and we talked a lot about our present life. This is the 1st time I've really spent some quality time there since the place was restored and re-opened. It's such a lovely place as luxurious new shops mixed with stylish old architecture, yet it fits into the surroundings so harmoniously.
Just now, I was talking to Coco on MSN. It's the 1st time I've ever told her about my stories when I was 15 to 25. It started off with a stupid search on Facebook and memories started to pour into my head like crazy. I'm not sure if I like those memories or not. Those were my happiest yet most difficult days in my life. Nonetheless, there's one thing for sure, without those memories, I won't be the person I am today. I don't wanna get rid of those memories, definitely not. Good memories should be kept, while bad memories shouldn't be discarded for they can serve as the guiding light through your life.
Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moanMemory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live againEvery streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morningDaylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will beginMemories, CATS
